I've got a D35H that I bought new in 1977. I bought it because it was so pretty (all those inlays) and because of how easily it fingered. It is still my favorite though it lacks the deep base of my Martin.
I bought mine in 1974 or 75 in Wiebsaden Germany. My wife and I dug through her purse and my pockets and came up with EXACTLY the correct amount of money, to the phinnig (german penny)to buy the thing. It still sounds great and my son plays it every day.
